To serve more than 300 customers worldwide, two relevant investments were performed recently, in order to increase our current production capacity of our two independent Plants:

In May 2002: NORTEC QUÍMICA completed the acquisition of ROCHE Plant in Brazil, dedicated to manufacture A.P.I. namely: BENZODIAZEPINES, SULPHAS and others. Besides, NORTEC QUÍMICA has more than 40 A.P.I.s in its range of products, specially after the purchase of ROCHE´s Chemical Plant and Industrial Facilities, approved by Food and Drug Administration - FDA (USA), that has enlarged our production portfolio.

In February 2003: NORTEC QUÍMICA purchased six complete state-of-art reaction sets (total of 12,000 gal) to increase even more the production capacity and manufacture high-volume drugs.
